Chantel Lyon and Jessica-Ellen Ball claimed British Championship titles in their age groups at the FARS Tots, Minis and Espoir British Championships at Bushfield Sports Centre, Peterborough on the weekend of 21st and 22nd of April.

Nine year old Chantel won gold in Figures, Free and Combined a phenomenal achievement; whilst twelve year old Jessica-Ellen came back after winning bronze for figures last year to take the gold.  In all, five youngsters from the club took part and although not all of them medalled the standard of the Ely skaters was extremely high.

'It has been a fantastic weekend' said Coach Brian Paddington 'Ely skaters are really leading the way in figures now.'
